As part of Postgraduate Degree Show 2025, the School of Innovation and Technology invite you to join our students and staff for a series of events taking place to accompany their degree show exhibition. There will be a two day Postgraduate Research Symposium with invited keynote speakers.

On Friday 29 and Saturday 30 August, you are invited to join us for a two day symposium of presentations by students about their work in the Reid Lecture Theatre. Across two days, students will present their master’s projects, inviting dialogues that move between urgent and imaginative terrains – from immersive healthcare to rural futures and digital preservation, sustainable housing, and questions of cultural access.

On Friday 29 August, we will be joined by Vinishree Solanki, Senior Service Designer for the NHS, and graduate of the MDes Design Innovation and Service Design programme, to give a keynote address.

‘Human creativity in the game industry: the next decade’

Dr Alexander Horowitz - Creative Craft Director, Electronic Arts

On Saturday, our keynote speaker will be Dr Alexander Horowitz, Creative Craft Director at Electronic Arts' Criterion in Guildford, UK, and the Global Communications Lead for EA's accessibility ERG, ABLE - and a PhD (and masters) graduate of GSA.

You are also invited to celebrate the next wave of creative talent at the 2025 Graduate Degree Show. The School of Innovation & Technology is proud to present a one-off screening of compelling audio-visual works by our graduating Master's students. Join us on Saturday 30 August in The Vic Assembly Hall to experience a diverse collection of innovative projects. This showcase is the perfect opportunity to honour the dedication and creativity of our students as they complete their postgraduate studies.
