Two weeks of sound workshops in Xi’an saw GSA’s Ronan Breslin teach sound skills to film and animation students and share work through a public lecture.

During the workshop residency, Ronan also delivered a public lecture to 150 XAFA (Xi'an Academy of Fine Arts) students and staff. This public lecture described and highlighted the cultural impact of Glasgow, GSA and SIT  within a global context juxtaposed with some examples of work created by GSA SIT students and staff including Ronan's own work.

The Xi'an Residency was significantly enhanced by some amazing cultural experiences curated by XAFA host Luxi Dong - in particular a visit to the world famous Terracotta Warriors.
