Simon Beeson joined the MDes Design Innovation and Environmental Design, The Glasgow School of Art Highland Campus, Forres in May 2023. He studied architecture at Manchester and Hull, became a registered architect 1989. Since then he has practiced as architect, public artist and educator.

Between 1990 and 1995 he studied and taught at the University of Minnesota, while working as assistant to public artist Siah Armajani. Simon has completed several public art workshops and works in Scotland.
