Fiona McNeill

Fiona McNeill (M.Des, MA (Hons) is a creative Sound Designer who loves to push boundaries with experimental sounds. She specialises in immersive soundscapes, musique concrete, foley and natural field recording.
While studying a Masters in “Sound for the Moving Image” at the Glasgow School of Art, Fiona excelled at generating abstract surround sound with Dolby Atmos and has since sound designed for many projects which include DonnaWilson, Tesco, Jutexpo, The Herald, among others in collaboration with Clubhouse Animations. You can hear Fiona’s sound design for BAFTA award-winning “Tom Gates” Series 2 on Sky Arts (and is currently working onSeries 3 with WildChild Animations). She has also been commissioned to create captivating soundscapes for museum installations and immersive show Fiona is also a Scottish Voiceover Artist and AudiobookNarrator. She was the very first female to voice the opener of BBC Scotland’s Sportscene highlights and has voiced many adverts and commercials. She is also the narrator for Austin Wolfe’s “Aonar” which won an American BAFTA, and also narrated Wolfe’s “Isle” which has been nominated in the Best Immersive Narrative category at Raindance Festival.
