Dr Amy Webster
Visiting Lecturer in Academic Research Skill Methods
Amy is a visiting lecturer in academic skills for postgraduate degrees and is a 2017 graduate in MSc Medical Visualisation and Human Anatomy programme. After her MSc, she attained her PhD from Glasgow Caledonian University, investigating immersive VR for upper limb rehabilitation within people with multiple sclerosis. Her PhD research won the prestigious award “Digital Innovator” from the Health and Social Care ALLIANCE, in collaboration with Glasgow Caledonian University, Glasgow School of Art and the MS Society.
Her research interests include health and wellbeing, user-centred design and collaborative/co-production research, focusing on virtual reality for motor rehabilitation.
