Caroline Allen
Lecturer in Human Anatomy
Caroline is a Lecturer in Human Anatomy at the University ofGlasgow. She holds a BSc (Hons) in Anatomy from the University of Glasgow and aMasters by Research in Reproductive Sciences and a PhD in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Edinburgh. Her PhD research focused on fertilitypreservation strategies for young boys undergoing cancer treatment. Caroline has taught undergraduate biomedical sciences at the University of Edinburgh andZhejiang University in China. She continued her research as a researchassociate at the University of Edinburgh before joining the University ofGlasgow as a Lecturer in Human Anatomy. Her current research interests includeutilizing medical visualization to enhance knowledge and awareness ofreproductive biology, including embryo development, for both student learningand public education.
